Bill: Tell us a little about yourself and how you started.

Brittany: My mom was a bookkeeper. I trained as a teen and always loved numbers. I started my own clients in 2012 and went full-time in Nov 2019.

Bill: And then COVID hit?

Brittany: Yes. Clients stopped spending. It was hard, but people learned to go virtual — which helped my business grow.

Bill: What made you reach out for help?

Brittany: I needed help with marketing. Word of mouth and BNI worked, but I needed more if my husband was going to quit his job.

Bill: What did you find most helpful?

Brittany: Two big things — the community and the marketing training. I learned a ton from the Facebook group, live calls, and marketing lessons.

Brittany: The ProAdvisor training was huge. I didn’t even know my online subscription had that. I also learned to charge what I’m worth. I now charge $90/hour instead of $50.

Brittany: I pushed back on lowball offers. I asked for what I was worth — and they said yes! One client was $4K/month, and when I lost them, I replaced that revenue in 6 weeks thanks to my ProAdvisor profile and marketing.

Brittany: I went from $2,500/month to $7,000/month. I’m about to hit six figures.

Brittany: My husband quit his warehouse job and now works beside me. We’re growing the business together. I’m home with our 12-year-old and able to be there for him during middle school.
