Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Support Specialist to join our growing team.
As a Student Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our students, providing exceptional support and guidance primarily in the areas of bookkeeping/accounting concepts and QuickBooks Online. Your role will involve resolving student inquiries, providing training, coaching, technical assistance, and ensuring overall student satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to student inquiries and provide assistance via email, our Facebook group, and on weekly Zoom coaching calls
- Troubleshoot and resolve student issues related to bookkeeping/accounting, QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QBO Payroll
- Utilize accounting and bookkeeping knowledge to address student questions and concerns effectively
- Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards students at all times
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex student issues
- Actively contribute to the improvement of our student support processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QBO Payroll
- Expert-level accounting & bookkeeping knowledge
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Accounting or CPA license
- 5 years of current experience as a bookkeeper serving at least 10 clients simultaneously using QuickBooks Online
- Must be certified in QuickBooks Online Level 1, 2, and Payroll
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in using Chrome, Gmail, Zoom, Loom, etc.
- Positive attitude and passion for helping others
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an instructor/trainer/coach
- Previous experience in customer support
- Availability to work weekends
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop
