Mara: Hi, Bill, thank you.

Bill: So tell us a little bit about yourself and your business.

Mara: I started bookkeeping for my brother because he needed someone he trusted. I started taking some online classes, but I was really struggling. I was working a 40-hour-a-week job, a dance mom, a Cub Scout mom…

Bill: You’re busy.

Mara: Trying to learn bookkeeping while doing the bookkeeping was very interesting.

Bill: So you started with no experience at all?

Mara: None. My brother just had faith in me. He said, “You can do this.”

Bill: How did you find my program and decide to take the leap?

Mara: It was a weekend. I was exhausted, went to get some fast food, and while waiting, I saw your ad on Facebook. I watched part of your video, then went home, ate, and couldn’t stop thinking about it. The next day, I emailed you. A couple of days later, I signed up and hit the ground running. It’s been so helpful.

Bill: What made the program so effective for you?

Mara: Knowing which steps to take as someone with no experience. The QuickBooks accountant access saved me hassle. And the Facebook group — I check it daily for help and advice.

Bill: A lot of people think you have to be a math whiz to do bookkeeping. But you’ve shown that anyone can do it.

Mara: Yes, I tried other programs, but none had the support yours did. Yours was the one that helped me succeed.

Bill: I work closely with everyone. I don’t just throw videos at you. That’s not how people succeed.

Bill: So where are you now?

Mara: Today is my first day not working a 40-hour job. I have several clients and am waiting on another. I now have time for my family, Cub Scouts, and dance. It’s amazing. I’m outside enjoying the day in Florida!

Bill: That’s incredible. How has your family life changed?

Mara: We watched a movie together. My kids didn’t have to go to daycare at 6 AM. We just had our second child in January, and my son has special needs. The flexibility is so important. I’m making more than double what I was making at my job.

Bill: That’s amazing — from zero experience to doubling your income in 11 months.

Mara: I remember being nervous emailing you for the first time. I still have that email! When I got my QuickBooks certification and ProAdvisor status, it felt amazing.

Mara: Start now. It’s so worth it. In under a year, I built a business, quit my job, and spend more time with my family. Don’t hesitate — just go for it.
